After getting back to Sydney, we boarded a train and headed to the Blue Mountains. The views were spectacular and the weather was beautiful, except we were a little cold! We hiked to waterfalls and almost gave Grandma a heart attack...but she survived!
Avery and Mommy on the train.

We bought a bus ticket once we arrived at the Blue Mountains to get around to each site. Davis thought it was the coolest thing ever that it was a double-decker Harry Potter bus!

On the bus waiting for departure...

I was surprised that the valley was still green/blue and we didn't see any beautiful fall colors like the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, until I learned that the Blue Mountains get their name from the oil of the Eucalyptus tree which has a blue hue. I am still having a hard time with the seasons here...Christmas in the summer, fall with no bright colors and no falling leaves! I am not sure what month it is anymore!

Who is the dufas making the face between Grandma and Grandpa??

Davis trying to fly like superman!

This is down at the waterfalls we hiked to...the sign said it was only a 30 minute hike, but failed to mention there were about 500 steps! Grandma is smiling here, but she wasn't very happy!
