After having 2 summers in a row, I thought I was looking forward to colder weather. Well, Autumn is here in full force and winter is on its way and it is cold and rainy! Our house doesn't have central heat and is all brick, so on rainy days, it is COLD! It wasn't too long ago that I was complaining about how hot it was without any A/C, but now we are freezing! We went to the Big W last night (Aussie version of Wal-Mart) and came home with 5 room heaters! I pulled down the one "winter" bin of clothes that I shipped over and there were hardly any warm clothes in there! After living in CA for the last 2 years and hardly wearing a coat, I got rid of everything warm and didn't think it was necessary to ship it over here. Boy, am I missing those warm, snuggly sweaters! I also now completely understand why the Ugg boot was invented here!
With the colder weather, though, comes new school uniforms! Another trip to the uniform shop and another $600...but I can't help but think they are adorable! Sorry, this isn't the best photo. I still don't know how to use my camera!
