4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July with a few other American families and while most of our friends in the US were sweating and trying to keep cool, we were bundled up, trying to stay warm! We invaded Clontarf Reserve, a beautiful little park on the harbour overlooking the Spit Bridge, with our big families and a great big American Flag! We had a yummy picnic, played at the park, had a water balloon fight, found starfish on the beach, lit some sparklers, and of course, a few even got in the water!
