Garrett gave me surfing lessons for Christmas but I have been hesitant to use them. And now that it is cold, definitely not! I told Garrett that he and the kids should use them because they would enjoy them so much more than I! And so, when the sun finally did come out, Avery, Carson, and Garrett headed to Manly Surf School where they were hoping to catch a few waves like this guy...

She didn't last very long this time because she was quite cold. Oh, and for some reason there was a ton of sea weed that had washed up and she did not like it touching her in the water!
The instructor was impressed with Garrett's skills and took him out to catch a few big ones...
