Avery joined the school band a few months back. She first started playing the flute, but got very frustrated with it and did not want to play it anymore. So, I told her to talk to her band teacher and ask if there was another instrument she could try. Well, she came home with the trumpet. Although her practice sessions are quite loud and sometimes difficult to endure, she is learning it quite well and is enjoying it! Here she is at her first concert teamed up with the Stella Maris Girls high school...They were having a "mufti" day (no uniform day), so that is why she is in pink!
